Defend as One – Moving Forward with Resilience and Deterrence

The recently launched UK Government Cyber Security Strategy looks to ensure that everything from core public services to national security apparatus is resilient to cyber attack. Against the backdrop of recent events in Ukraine, and potential new members into NATO, this session explores the two key pillars of the Strategy, ‘cyber resilience’ and ‘Defend as One’, and why they are even more relevant today.  How do we collectively achieve the cyber resilience that we need at the same time as building defensive partnerships that are greater than the sum of their parts? And, if we can do this, what does it mean for transforming how we think about deterrence?
