CyCon 2019 volunteers - Join the flagship event of CCDCOE

NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE) is a NATO-accredited cyber defence hub focusing on research, training and exercises. The international military organisation based in Estonia is a community of currently 21 nations providing a 360-degree look at cyber defence, with expertise in the areas of technology, strategy, operations and law.

Be a part of CyCon Conference Volunteer Team!

Here’s your chance to participate in CyCon, NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence’s annual International Conference on Cyber Conflict, organised already for the 11th time. In 2018 the conference brought together over 700 experts from government, military, academia and private sector from more than 40 nations.

CyCon is taking place from 28 May to 31 May, 2019 at Swissotel Tallinn. The theme for CyCon 2019 is “Silent Battle”. More information about the conference can be found: www.cycon.org

 

Volunteers are invited to assist with the administration of the conference and in exchange will receive free conference registration, access to conference proceedings, also will be provided with meals and invited to take part in all Conference Social Events. Volunteers have the opportunity to hear and learn about the latest cyber trends and meet leading experts around the world while contributing to the success of this annual event.

 

Volunteer tasks:

  • Assisting at the registration /welcome desk
  • Monitoring conference sessions and assisting speakers
  • Assisting conference team with different on-site tasks

We expect all volunteers:

  • To be present at all conference days, including preparation day May 27
  • To be fluent in English with good communication skills
  • To be friendly and helpful
