Aleksi Kajander is an Early Stage Researcher and PhD Candidate at the Department of Law at the Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech). He holds an LLM in Investment Treaty Arbitration from Uppsala University and a second Master’s degree cum laude in Law and Technology from TalTech. Additionally, he holds a cum laude Bachelor’s Law degree in EU and International Law from TalTech. His research interests include, in particular, the intersection of International Humanitarian Law with emerging technologies such as autonomous weapons and artificial intelligence, as well as cyber conflicts. He was a visiting scholar at the NATO CCDCOE in 2022.
