Alessandro Boggio Tomasaz is a legal adviser at the Council of the European Union. In this role, he is responsible for providing legal advice on aspects related to EU restrictive measures, Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP), Dual-Use export control, consular affairs and terrorism.
Furthermore, he represents the Council of the European Union as an agent in cases related to sanctions before EU Courts. He is also an Officer of the Italian Navy, and he participated as Legal Adviser in several military missions and operations. He is a member of the International Society for Military Law and the Law of War.
