Miriam Howe

Miriam is Head of International Consulting for BAE Systems Digital Intelligence, leading cyber programmes for UK and international governments, particularly relating to national cyber defence capabilities.  She also leads BAE’s Cyber Portfolio focussed on National Cyber Strategy and national scale cybersecurity capabilities, supporting the development of sovereign cyber capability, across strategy, people, processes and technology, and ensuring alignment with national cyber strategy.  Miriam has over two decades experience as a cybersecurity professional, having spent the majority of her career helping Government, Defence, and Law Enforcement organisations to protect themselves against cyber-attack.  Following a Masters in International Security and Global Governance in 2016, she pivoted to an international focus and now focusses on cyber capacity building in different parts of the world, and actively engages on international cyber policy issues in particular private research and public speaking on topics relating to national cybersecurity and cyber power.
