Pete Cooper

Pete is Deputy Director Cyber Defence in the Cabinet Office where he looks over the Government sector, being responsible for the Government Cyber Security Strategy, policies, standards and serious/cross government cyber incidents. His leadership and experience stretch across multiple military domains, private and public sector and he also founded the Aerospace Village at DEFCON. He has a postgraduate degree in Cyberspace Operations from Cranfield University, is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Cyber Statecraft Initiative of the Scowcroft Centre for Strategy and Security at the Atlantic Council, and a Visiting Senior Research Fellow in the Department of War Studies, King’s College London.
