Silke holds PhD in Mathematics and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and works as a Telecommunication Security Expert in Finland. She has been securing mobile communications since 2000. Her security expertise covers 5G, Open RAN, Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC), roaming, private networks, threat intelligence for mobile networks, embedded UICC, cloud hosting for telecommunication and legacy networks. She represented major mobile equipment network vendors many years in 3GPP and GSMA. Her security research was published at conferences like DefCon and Blackhat. She is member of the EU European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) Advisory Group and her goal is to make mobile networks secure and resilient.
