Talita Dias

Dr Talita Dias is the Senior Research Fellow in the International Law Programme at Chatham House. She is also a Visiting Research Fellow with the Oxford Institute for Ethics, Law and Armed Conflict (ELAC), where she is a member of the Oxford Process on International Law Protections in Cyberspace. Prior to that, she was the Shaw Foundation Junior Research Fellow in Law at Jesus College, Oxford and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government. Her current research focuses on the application of international law to new technologies, online content regulation, and information operations. Talita has taught a range of legal subjects, including Public International Law, International Criminal Law, and English Criminal Law. She holds a DPhil/PhD and a Master’s degree in law from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor’s degree in law from the Federal University of Pernambuco in Brazil, where she is a qualified lawyer.
